Home Mortgage How Can Unmarried People Report Home Mortgage Interest Paid Jointly?

How can unmarried people report home mortgage interest paid jointly? - home mortgage

I own a house with another person. We are not married. We are both named in the mortgage market and to pay the mortgage on a checking account shall be jointly and use for other purposes. Can we share the mortgage interest deduction among us, but we want as long as we have our two gives the total amount in connection with the bank to pay? Or should we have a kind of formula? As the ratio of the bank interest is paid to the IRS?

We can pay all the money in his remarks. If the percentage share of each one of you actually paid.

The bank is on the SS # of the most important person on the loan. If you share, you have a statement with his statements.

You can leave, but may also cheaper for one person for all (the most important person capture) and develop a payment agreement with the other (more cost for maintenance to be paid, or) the 'pocket money to another person.
